smissmas-miracle:

I have to make a presentation for my Natural Sciences class tomorrow. Naturally, as I am going to an HBCU and tomorrow is the first day of black history month, we had to choose black scientists.

I chose Mae Jemison, because she’s an absolute badass.

This is my presentation.

(Except the ‘babe’ slide, I just wanted to let it be known on Tumblr that Mae Jemison was hot.)

Hopefully it doesn’t get me in trouble.

Enjoy.

Awesome

I love this page, not because I wrote it, but because the art is so amazing.
It’s for a benefit anthology, organized by the people who run the THOUGHT BALLOONS comic convention in Leeds, England, one of the most fun and wonderful cons I’ve ever been to, ever.
The anthology has work by Warren Ellis, Ivan Brandon, Rich Starkings, and lots more. This piece was drawn by Tula Lotay, a magnificently talented artist who also is a major force in comics in her section of the country. She elevated this strip tremendously.
The book benefits a children’s charity, Barnardos. I haven’t seen the completed book yet, but it’s been getting astounding reviews and with that line-up, I’m guessing it’s excellent.

I want to work with this artist again really a GREAT MUCHNESS.
Tula Lotay, you rule.

STOP IT I’M FREAKING OUT

I am both scared and excited

LET’S NOT FORGET THE  DALEK EYESTALK THAT WASHED UP IN FLORIDA

Or the Utah Cave Painting resembling the TARDIS~

let me repost this again

Not to mention the fact Mars is full of water.

Ladies and gentlemen, Gallifrey

Remember those things the Master had? So:

Crack in time?

HE LIVES.

So now I’m just gonna sit down and wait.

i just nearly fell down the stairs running to tell my dad that the doctor is real and that the internet has proof…

let’s not forget about this painting that has been made in 1959.It looks like Amy and Rory who actually lived somewhere around that time

And what about the REAL LIFE VERSION OF THIS TUMBLR POST that showed up on the DOCTOR WHO TUMBLR in REAL LIFE before we even posted it here to the Doctor Who Tumblr!

I mean it’s REALLY REAL! We scrolled that page and everything! FORGET ALL THE OTHER EVIDENCE!!! IF THE DOCTOR WHO TUMBLR IS REAL THEN THE DOCTOR IS REAL!!!

The Moth Presents Neil Gaiman: Liverpool Street

Expert in storytelling.

If you’re wondering what the Unchained Tour is like, it’s like this. Only there are four of us, and the stories are very different. (This is me in 2007 telling my story of what happened to me on Liverpool Street Station when I was  15 going on 16.)
